Construction of the Gänstor Bridge, which links the cities of Ulm and Neu-Ulm in Germany

In June, the installation of the final elements of the western bridge span – four elements of the third segment – was completed.
This marks the completion of the installation work:
the alignment and fitting of the bridge elements,
the welding work and the creation of the welds connecting all parts of the bridge,
the application of anti-corrosion protection.

Further work relating to the assembly of the steel structure of the eastern bridge wing is planned for next spring.
